If a reservation is cancelled at least 72 hours* before the reservation arrival date, the camper will receive a full refund of what has been paid by the camper less a $30 cancellation fee.

If a reservation is cancelled within 72 hours of the reservation arrival date, the camper will be charged for the first night of the reservation. *Notwithstanding the foregoing, if a reservation is made at least 72 hours before the reservation arrival date, then it can be cancelled up to 24 hours after the booking is made with a full refund of what has been paid by the camper and without any cancellation fees.

Quiet hours are from 10 pm – 8 am daily.

During these hours, campers must turn off music and televisions and keep conversations quiet to respect neighboring campsites.

Campland is known for its lively atmosphere, but we want everyone to enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep.

Yes! Campland welcomes approved pets, subject to our pet policies and breed restrictions..

For stays of 30 nights or fewer, up to three approved pets are permitted per campsite. Extended stays allow up to two approved pets, while campsites in the Primitive Section are limited to one pet.

All pets must be registered and have their rabies vaccine up to date. Breed restrictions and pet fees apply.

Campland also features Dog Wood Park, an off-leash dog park where campers can exercise their dogs.

Permitted e-bikes and e-scooters may be operated within Campland when riders comply with applicable laws and resort safety rules.

Children under 12 may not operate e-bikes. Class 3 e-bike riders must be at least 16 years old.

All wheeled transportation must follow Campland’s 5 mph speed limit and remain on designated asphalt roads.

Certain high-powered electric motorcycles, off-road vehicles, and other motorized devices are prohibited, including Sur-rons.

Yes! Bicycle riding is a popular activity at Campland.

All riders must observe the resort’s 5 mph speed limit, stay on designated asphalt roads, yield to pedestrians, and follow posted safety rules.

Trick riding, wheelies, and riding on sidewalks or through recreational facilities are prohibited.

Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring their children follow resort safety rules.

Yes, golf carts are permitted when they meet resort requirements.  There is a golf cart fee.

Golf carts must be registered with the Front Desk and display a valid pass. Drivers must possess a valid driver’s license and appropriate insurance.

Golf carts may not be operated between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. and must follow the resort’s 5 mph speed limit.

Yes! Campfires are part of the Campland experience.

Yes. Campers may use BBQs and grills at their assigned campsites.

Grills must be elevated above ground level and may not be placed directly on grass or picnic tables.

BBQs are not permitted on the beach, in parking lots, or in other unauthorized areas.

Yes! Campland offers marina facilities and a boat launch on Mission Bay.

Boat storage, moorage, and trailer parking are subject to availability, applicable fees, and resort approval.

Boats and boat trailers are not permitted on campsites.

Contact the Campland Marina at 858-581-4224 before arrival to discuss availability and requirements.

Occupancy limits depend on the campsite type and length of stay.

Most RV sites accommodate four overnight campers, with up to six permitted for qualifying short-term reservations when additional occupancy fees are paid.

Tent campsites accommodate a maximum of four overnight campers and no more than two tents.

The Primitive Section and extended-stay reservations have additional occupancy restrictions.

All occupants, including children, count toward the campsite occupancy limit.

Most RV reservations include parking passes for one RV and one passenger vehicle/motorcycle.

Most tent campsite reservations include parking for two passenger vehicles. Primitive Section campsites include one vehicle parking pass.

Additional vehicle parking may be available for a fee, subject to campsite space and resort approval.

All vehicles must be registered and parked in authorized locations.

No. Personal fireworks of any kind are strictly prohibited throughout the resort.

This policy helps protect campers, wildlife, property, and the surrounding Mission Bay environment.

No. Personal drone operation is prohibited at Campland and in the airspace above resort property.

Smoking and vaping are permitted only at individual campsites, provided they do not disturb neighboring campers, and in designated areas of the pool complex.

Smoking and vaping are prohibited on the beach and in other shared areas of the resort.

Our rangers are available 24 hours a day to assist campers and help maintain a safe, enjoyable environment.

For emergencies, call 911 first, then notify a resort ranger.

Campland takes camper safety and respectful behavior seriously.

Depending on the nature and severity of the violation, consequences may include loss of recreational privileges, removal from the resort, cancellation of reservations, or being banned from future stays.

All enforcement actions are subject to applicable laws and resort policies.
