Planning a camping adventure with your group? Look no further than Campland on the Bay, San Diego’s premier group camping destination. From family reunions and car clubs to church retreats and sports teams, we cater to groups of all sizes and interests. We have several groups who return year after year, including one group that has been coming since 1973.
Campland welcomes groups from the Tuesday after Labor Day until July 1st, excluding major holidays. We offer the following to groups who book 10 or more campsites:

- Special Gathering Spots: Use of our special event tent for group gatherings (based on availability).
- Extend the Fun:. Group members can book an extra day (the day before or the day after their group dates) and still get the group rate.
- Hassle Free Check-in: Check in is easy and done by the wagonmaster (group leader). If the group books over 20 sites, the wagonmaster gets their stay free.
- Unleash Your Inner Athlete: Challenge your friends and family to friendly competetions with our on-site facilities including beach volleyball, dodgeball, basketball, bean bag toss or horseshoe tournaments.
- Adventure Beyond the Campsite: We offer a variety of customizable activities, from water sports rentals to fun games like human foosball and bubble ball (rental fees apply).
- Festive Fun: Experience our vibrant and laid-back atmosphere, perfect for group gatherings and making new memories.
- Shine Bright: For an extra touch, you’ll get your group’s name displayed on our iconic marquee!
