With waterfront campsites, resort-style amenities, and a lively schedule of activities, Campland makes it easy to balance work, relaxation, and recreation. Spend your days kayaking or biking, let the kids run free at the pools and playgrounds, or connect with neighbors over evening campfires and community events.
From remote workstations under the sun to weekends filled with live music, food, and family fun, extended stays at Campland feel less like camping—and more like a lifestyle.
Campland offers a limited number of extended stay sites for stays over 31 days during the off-season. Our extended stay season starts on September 8 and ends on June 30. To get more information, please call 858-581-4200 during business hours.

Campland on the Bay® offers extended stay rates from September 8 – June 30 each year. Rates are subject to change based on availability and without notice. Weekly and Extended Stay reservations are available to book by phone only. Rates are effective 1/1/2026.

Cancellation Fee $30 per reservation
Reservations with notice of at least 72 hours will be charged a $30 cancellation fee. Reservations cancelled within 72 hours will be charged one night's site fees. Failure to give notice on or before check in day of a change in your arrival date may result in forfeiture of your deposit and cancellation of remainder of reserved nights.

Extended Stay Reservations for RV Sites
Extended stays are permitted only for certain dates. Currently, the maximum stay is 89 consecutive nights, and the camper must move out and off the property by noon on the 90th day. Our policy is to allow campers to return no earlier than 2 p.m. the next day for another stay of up to 89 consecutive nights under a new reservation.
Deposits
For any extended stay reservation, a deposit equal to the published weekly rate for the first week of the reservation (the “Deposit”) is to be collected at the time a reservation is made. The Deposit is then applied to the 1st month’s rent (or prorated rent) on the reservation arrival date for the extended stay.
Cancellation Policy
Reservations with notice of at least 72 hours will be charged a $30 cancellation fee. Reservations cancelled within 72 hours will be charged one night’s site fees. Failure to give notice on or before check in day of a change in your arrival date may result in forfeiture of your deposit and cancellation of remainder of reserved nights.
Extended Stay Site Selection Fees
A camper may select an available RV site in advance by paying a $250 site selection fee at the time the reservation is made. The site selection fee is a stand-alone fee and is not applied towards the 1st month’s rent. If a reservation is cancelled at least 61 days prior to the reservation start date, the site selection fee is fully refundable. If a reservation is cancelled within 60 days of the reservation arrival date, the site selection fee is non-refundable.

Here’s some of our most commonly asked questions regarding extended stays at Campland on the Bay.
An extended stay typically refers to reservations of 30 nights or longer. Availability for extended stays varies by season and site type.
Because Campland is a high-demand waterfront resort, extended stay opportunities are limited and subject to approval.
Extended stays are offered from September 8 through June 30 annually. We do not offer summer rates during our busy summer season which starts Memorial Weekend and end just after Labor Day weekend.
Extended stay RV sites include water, sewer, and electric hook-ups.
Wi-Fi access is also available throughout the resort.
Yes – Extended stay guests may be eligible for mail services depending on the length of stay. Mail and packages are delivered to the administration office and are available for pick up during certain business hours during the week.
No. Campland on the Bay operates as a recreational RV resort and is not a residential community. Extended stays are intended for temporary recreational use only and must comply with resort policies and guidelines.
Yes. Extended stay rates differ from nightly or weekly vacation rates and are based on length of stay, season, and site type. Availability is limited and subject to review.

Campland remains a resort environment, and all guests are expected to follow community guidelines.
Site relocations may be possible depending on availability, but they are not guaranteed. We encourage guests to confirm preferred site type before arrival.
Extended stay durations are subject to seasonal limits and resort policies. Extended stay rates are only available September 8 – June 30 annually. Please contact reservations to discuss your specific timeline.
How far in advance should I apply for an extended stay?
Due to limited availability, we recommend contacting us several months in advance, particularly for winter stays when demand increases. We allow people to book extended stays up to two years in advance beginning September 8.
