Campland recently hosted an essay contest for the chance to be featured in The San Diego Union-Tribune. We received over a dozen essay submissions sharing memories, stories and all the fun that can be had here on Mission Bay.
Susan Wright, a long-time Campland camper, penned a wonderful and enthusiastic essay about her family’s experience camping along Mission Bay. Congrats, Susan!
Susan closes out her heartfelt essay with this: “Campland embodies the spirit of San Diego where the attitude is as chill as the weather is warm. Even when it is raining it feels like the sun is shining at Campland on the Bay. Campland is a local treasure for every person lucky enough to call the San Diego area their home.”
